Transitions

Hello Blogworld!
After the month and a halfish hiatus, its time for some blog-tastic fun times.
There has been more changes and transitions in my crazy life than I can fully comprehend!
From applying for real life adult teacher jobs to hanging out with 2 year olds, my life has been filled with a relaxed busyness that has flown by.

Just to catch up......

I graduated from Mississippi College. Looking back, my time spent at MC was absolutely wonderful. I met some incredible people was fortunate enough to get to have some wild adventures. I was reflecting on college and life with the fantastic Sicily Axton. We laughed and talked of sweet memories from Jones and our Big Girl College Careers. So many beautiful memories.

This past week I made a tour of central MS and personally visited every single high school and middle school within a 40 mile radius. I marched into the school offices, made a pleasant joke, made the secretaries giggle, and then I was on my way. I was in an out within 7 minutes. I had a set routine. The next day Mr. Luke chauffeured me around and we spent the whole day visiting schools. I had an actual interview at a high school. I think I did well. I surprised myself with my professionalism in answering questions that I had no idea what they answer were. I threw the word authoritative around a lot and once I referred to myself as a lion. True, but maybe inappropriate for an interview.

I started work at the tele-counseling center at MC. I make about 150 phone calls every night. I kind of love it.

I also started working at a daycare. Its a trip I'll say that much. The kids are really cute.

In a few weeks I start graduate classes that will last all summer. After these two classes I will be certified to teach 7-12th grade social studies. Bring it on.

Mr. Luke starts his big job in a couple of weeks so we are spending every spare moment together that we can.

I move into my first big girl apartment in a couple of weeks. I am nervous about paying bills, but super excited about this new chapter.

In other news 2 great friends got married last weekend. It was one of the best weddings I've ever been to! Mr. Luke did a stellar job with the wedding music, then we had a splendid time catching up with friends.

This is Mr. Luke and me at the rehearsal dinner.
I do not get to see these lovely people enough.

I am so happy for Caleb and Rebecca. They are 2 beautiful people and I wish then the greatest happiness.

As for crafts, I am working on a cool new pillow. I cant wait to put up photos once its time to display it... so keep an eye out.

For now, I am standing on the promises of God. Im trusting Him to provide for me, praying to be content in all situations, praying for increased faith, and watching Gulliver's Travels.
I have been camping out in Romans and there is such goodness in those scriptures.
Lets present our bodies as living sacrifices everyday!
