I hope that everyone has had a beautiful week.
For me, its been a week of somewhat rest and reflection.
My beautiful friend Allison, sweet roommate Morgan and I were talking about how different things will be after graduation (May 7th!). We will never live in dorms again. Personally, I love living in the dorm and having a meal plan, but its time for me to be a real adult.
This is not adulthood by default because you've hit 21, this is adulthood by having a real job, buying your own food, and paying rent.
Please... put me on your prayer lists.
Ha so with that, these next few weeks will fly by with all of my school work assignments, but I hope it goes slow so I can savor the beautiful moments of my last weeks as an undergrad.
So now, I have a few photos to share with you...
First off, Mr. Luke finished brochure for the Botswana Orphan Care Center. Obviously this is only the front, but the insides will be available for your viewing pleasure later.
This past weekend was a huge rummage sale weekend. Mrs. Barb and I had a blast going through all of the fun items. I mean... some of the things people give to sell are just hilariously weird. So of course that was an equation for a good time.
These are my finds! I snagged 2 old luggage pieces. I didn't have any pieces that color before now, so my collection of old luggage looks like a rainbow now. I found a cool scrapbook with cardboardy paper inside... excellent. I also grabbed a salt and pepper shaker set and a cool new coffee cup that looks like wood. My absolute favorite find was the floral tins with the wooden lids. I. Am. Pumped.
These tins are ah-mazing. When I picked them up off the table, they were all stacked within one another and there was only one lid. Luckily I ran into the lady who the tins originally belonged too and she directed me to the other 3 lids!
Mrs. Barb and I made another pillow!
Instead of a tree like the last one, its a little bush.
I love it.
Mr. Luke and I took a little trip to Vicksburg today to go to the Gap Outlet and the Civil War Park. After some great deals at the Gap we just so happened to run into our friends Jeremy Stricklin and Kevin Toque. They were playing in the parking lot. Out of Control.

Its even funnier because last weekend Mr. Luke and I ran into Kevin at the Renaissance. So basically we are Kevin's groupies.
Reunion.
As you can see one of my best friends Ashli asked Adam to go to her informal. This wasn't just any "Will you go to informal with me?" it was the most delicious invitations ever.
Last night Mr. Luke and I went to Underground Church at Country Woods.
It was amazing.
Our speaker, Chip Henderson (pastor of Pinelake), walked through Philippians. He basically mapped out the basics on how to live an effective Christian life.
A lot of times we forget the basics and just look for the big picture things you know?
Its beautiful to be reminded.
I want to encourage you to hit up Philippians. Its only 4 chapters.
Lets learn from Paul and be effective and be excited about our faith!
lets do it!
you're really cool. and mr. luke isn't so bad either. i'm glad we're friends
